Just a reminder that we will be having a meeting this Thursday, April 18, 2024 @ 19:00 Type: virtual Location: Jitsi Meet Topic: running a rootless container with podman I was thinking about using a tool I had set up at $DAYJOB once upon a time and decided that I wanted to use it as a container. After getting it to do what I wanted, I ended up using that implementation as the new standard at $DAYJOB. I might do it on the fedora system itself, I might use a KVM VM, that remains to be seen, however the process remains the same. That is the intent, however things may change in the interim. If you want to participate, you should have podman installed. At this time, podman is available for all common platforms. I expect I’ll be doing the demo on a fedora system. Close enough to a my $DAYJOB systems that all the commands are the same, but I don’t need to deal with using my redhat developer systems for it. All of the podman parts will be identical.
